Stackhouse leads Pirates with 23 kills, 13 digs

SPENCERVILLE - Visiting Bluffton swept Spencerville in three sets in a Northwest Conference volleyball match Thursday night.
The 25-20, 25-15, 25-23 win upped the Lady Pirate record to 11-6 overall and 4-2 in NWC play. Last-place Spencerville fell to 5-10 overall and 0-5 in the NWC with the defeat.
Sophomore standout Kylie Stackhouse led the Pirates with 23 kills and 13 digs. Junior Taylor Schwab contributed 16 kills and five aces.
Sophomore setter Skyler Scoles dished out 40 assists and dealt a pair of aces. Sophomore Kylie Monday came up with 11 digs and three blocks. Senior Libby Schaadt added three blocks.
Bluffton also won the JV match, 2-0.
Bluffton visits Patrick Henry in a non-league match Monday, September 30. The Pirate spikers then host Columbus Grove (8-7, 3-2 NWC) in an NWC match Tuesday, Oct. 1.
