First Choice Easy Banking Account was officially
First National Bank's First Choice Easy Banking Account was officially certified by the national Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund (CFE Fund) recently.
The certification is by Bank On National Account Standards, an organization co-created by consumer advocates, national nonprofit organizations, civic leaders, and other financial institutions, designate both core and strongly recommended features that ensure low cost, high functionality, and consumer safety.
Key features of the First Choice Easy Banking Account include a monthly cost of only $5, no overdraft or nonsufficient fund fees, the ability to pay bills and make purchases, and federal deposit insurance.
The First Choice Easy Banking Account is available in every one of First National five branches across Putnam, Allen and Hancock counties.

Bank On certified accounts already comprise over 46% of the national deposit market share. In addition to First National Bank, almost 90 other financial institutions across the country have Bank On certified accounts.
