Easter Sunday services at Trinity Lutheran
Easter Sunday will be celebrated at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, with two services. The Sunrise Service begins at 6:30 a.m. and the festival service begins at 9:30 a.m. on March 31. (They are identical services.)
The hymns are: "Jesus Christ is Risen Today; Awake, My Heart, with Gladness; I Know that My Redeemer Lives; Christ Jesus Lay in Death's Strong Bands; He is Arisen! Glorious Word." The Choir will sing "Easter Song."
The readings are: Job 19:23-27; 1 Corinthians 15:19-26; and Mark 16:1-8.
The theme is: "Resurrection Reality: All Will Be Made Alive" with the sermon based on Mark 16:1-8 and 1 Corinthians 15:19-26.
An Easter breakfast will be served from 7:30 until 9:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend the services and the breakfast and everything is handicapped accessible. The Sunrise Service will be live streamed and archived. More information is available at [email protected] or by calling 419-326-4685.
