Bluffton Veterans Day ceremonies, November 11
Bluffton American Legion Post 382 will provide Veterans Day ceremonies and activities on November 11, 2024.
7:45 a.m., Bluffton High School
Post 382 will hold a flag retirement (burning) ceremony. Commander Kurt Emans will speak to students about Veterans Day, and about activities for the day.
1:30 p.m., Mennonite Memorial Home
Post members will meet the resident Veterans in the Chapel.
2:30 p.m. Maple Crest
Post members will meet the resident Veterans in the Patio room.
3:45 p.m. Willow Ridge
Post members will meet with resident Veterans.
All Veterans, their spouses and the public are encouraged to attend these events.
8:00 a.m. Bluffton Elementary School
Cheryl Craig, Larry Core, Sam Reineke & Tom Benroth will be at Bluffton Elementary School to teach 4th graders the correct procedure for folding the American Flag,
