CASA to host Tatts & Chats event
Crime Victim Service’s CASA program will be at WarHawk Tattoo in Lima on March 23 to chat with patrons about the programs and how they can become volunteers.
Visitors will choose a tattoo from dozens of options, and will get to talk with CASA supervisors about the challenges facing abused and neglected children in Allen and Putnam Counties. Participants must register in advance, and slots are expected to fill up quickly.
Tats & Chats will be held at WarHawk Tattoo at 925 N Jameson Ave in Lima. The event will run from 1pm-7pm. Time slots can be reserved at givebutter.com/tattchat. Tattoo options are available at $50 and $100 tiers. Please direct questions to [email protected] or 567-940-2272.
CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children. Our volunteers walk alongside these children during their court cases, making recommendations in court for their best interests. Cases with a CASA generally have better outcomes than those that do not. We hope this event will spread awareness of our cause and inspire people who want to be a voice for a voiceless child.
