The American Red Cross North Central Ohio Chapter is aiding an Arlington family after responding to a fire on North Main Street in the village on Wednesday night.
The Red Cross provided assistance for immediate needs such as temporary lodging, food and clothing to those affected.
“We’re deeply saddened for those who were impacted by this fire,” said Todd James, Executive Director, North Central Ohio Chapter. “As we continue to help them, we urge everyone to take steps to minimize the risk of a fire occurring in their home.”
Nearly 20 interested Bluffton residents and village officials met in the town hall with three Ohio Department of Transportation representatives on Dec. 12. The meeting lasted nearly 90 minutes.
