The Bluffton Icon begins a collaboration today with BlufftonConnection.com of Bluffton University. The venture greatly expands the news, features, photos and videos capabilities for both popular Internet sites.

This collaboration has been in the making for two years, and both online news sources are excited to see it finally coming together.

To assist Icon viewers' navigation of BlufftonConnection.com, a user guide is attached at the bottom of this story.

The Bluffton Relay for Life February meeting is planned on Thursday, Feb. 2, in the third floor of the town hall, according to Adam Blevins of the American Cancer Society.

The Relay committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. (new time). Teams will meet at 7 p.m.

Bluffton's GROB Systems, Inc., today announce that it has been awarded $7.9 million in funding from the State of Ohio for an upcoming expansion.

GROB Systems, a builder of machine tool equipment, is a subsidiary of GROB-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG located in Mindelheim, Germany.

GROB engineers and manufactures custom-made equipment for high volume production for automotive, motorcycle, tractor and truck manufacturers. GROB produces such equipment as machining centers, assembly lines, robots and automation.

Do you have social media questions, but are afraid to ask? Professional social media consultants charge anywhere from $50 to $200 per hour for their services. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce offers it free to members this winter.

Through the assistance of Emily Turner, Bluffton University chamber intern, the chamber will provide free one-on-one, or small group social media workshop sessions.

Former Bluffton mayor, Fred Rodabaugh, will offer his observations on Bluffton over the past half century during the 7:30 a.m., Friday morning, Feb.10, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The event is in the Bluffton town hall.

Rodabaugh is a life-long Bluffton resident. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 1965. He attended Bluffton College and then served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam.
