Bluffton High School senior I wrote ‘The Never Ending Path’ partly for myself and partly for my mother, trying to make sense of something that I didn’t believe anyone ever would. A more detailed explanation at at the bottom of this column.

COLUMBUS GROVE - The Bluffton boys track and field team finished a strong second at the Northwest Conference meet Thursday and Saturday at Columbus Grove.
Meet host Grove claimed both the boys and girls championships. CG cruised to the boys title with 217.5 points, ahead of second-place Bluffton (123.5).
CG captured the girls crown with 163 points, while Spencerville finished second at 141.
Bluffton University to offer project management and supply chain management concentrations for business administration majors
Bluffton University is adding new concentrations for business administration majors in two growing and in-demand fields. Students can now choose project management or supply chain management as concentrations for the major.
Project management, which includes leading a team to achieve specific goals, is one of the biggest skills gaps in the country and is needed in almost every industry.
Grant Klinger and Olivia Barnes reigned as the 2021 Bluffton High School prom king and queen. Prom was held Saturday at Marbeck Center. Jamie Nygaard shares these photos with Icon viewers.
Former Bluffton mayor, James Porter King, 87, died May 16, 2021, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Porter was born April 3, 1934, in Mt. Cory, Ohio, to the late Marco and Mamie (Smith) King. On May 6, 1953, he married Nancy Steinman King who survives.
Porter was a graduate of Cory-Rawson High School. He retired from Triplett Corporation, Bluffton, where he had been the chief financial officer. Porter was an avid stamp collector and was a University of Michigan fan, history and political buff and enjoyed golf.
