A free, public presentation about the most recent narratives recorded for the Ohio Farm Stories project, a collaboration between the University of Findlay and Hancock Historical Museum, will be offered on Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in the UF Alumni Memorial Union.
Speaking will be museum Executive Director Sarah Sisser, assistant communication professor Megan Adams, Ph.D., and English professor Christine Denecker, Ph.D, of Bluffton.
Gerald R. Heldman, 81, of Mount Cory, died Monday, March 19, 2018, at The Heritage. He was born in Bluffton, Ohio, on Nov. 25, 1936, to the late Ira and Mary (Sheriff) Heldman.
Gerald married Shirley Shroyer on July 23, 1956, and she preceded him in death. He later married Carol J. Kline in 1979 and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2014.
In 1997, Gerald retired from Ford Motor Company after 40 years of service.

IBM Watson Health TM recently named Blanchard Valley Hospital one of the 100 Top Hospitals. This is the sixth time Blanchard Valley Hospital received this recognition.
While Bluffton was not part of this national study, the implications are positive for Bluffton.
