Twice on Tuesdays and twice on Thursdays

Thanks to the increasing popularity of pickleball, Bluffton Family Recreation now offers several pickleball sessions each week, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director.

Pickleball times are:
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and
• Tuesdays and Thursday from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

Pickleball is free for SilverSneakers members, and $2 for non-Silver Sneakers members.

The Pandora United Methodist Church Choir will be present an Easter Cantata, “Wondrous Love” written by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, March 25 at 9:30 a.m. during the worship service.

The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Kira Davis. The church is located on State Route 12 at 108 E. Washington St., in Pandora. The Rev. Duane Kemerley is the pastor.

Saturday morning at Mennonite Memorial Home

An Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages 8 and under is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, 10 a.m., at Mennonite Memorial Home.

The annual event, sponsored by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) and Bluffton McDonald’s, will take place rain or shine. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult and should bring their own basket for collecting eggs. Families are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early as the eggs are collected very quickly once the hunt begins.

The Icon is just as surprised as Icon viewers to discover that John Murray works for the Easter Bunny. John, a Mennonite Memorial Home resident, was among residents and Bluffton Community Pre-schoolers who dyed Easter eggs at MMH on Friday.
