DELAWARE, Ohio - The Bluffton University baseball team rallied with three runs in the ninth for an 11-9 victory at Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Bluffton will take a 1-0 mark to Fort Myers, Fla., when the Beavers hit the field again on Sunday, March 4.

A game that started very well for the Bluffton boy’s basketball team slipped away in the third quarter and the deficit was too large to overcome. Paulding dealt Bluffton a 42-35 defeat in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament Tuesday evening to end the Pirate season at 10-13. The game was the final one for seniors Kaleb Jefferson, Dakota Bricker, Joel Piercefield and Cole Fruchey. (more at www.blufftonpirates.com)

Bluffton Family Recreation fitness classes are in place for late winter and spring, according to Daniel Tinch, director. The new schedule started this week.
There are several new features and times of classes. One of the new classes covers Total-body Resistance Exercise (TRX).
NEWS FLASH - As reported earlier this week, the Bluffton High School orchestra received an Excellent (II) rating at this past weekend's music contest. Rachael Lewis, director, informed the Icon today that a scoring error revealed that the orchestra actually rated "Superior" (I).
