The following impacts to traffic related to the reconstruction and widening of Interstate 75 through Findlay and Hancock County are scheduled to occur:
• Interstate 75 southbound will be reduced to one lane in the southbound direction from County Road 99 to State Route 12, Findlay, on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and Thursday, March 1, for demolition of a bridge over an abandoned railroad.
The lane restriction will begin at approximately 9 p.m. each of those nights and conclude at approximately 7 a.m. the following day.
All Findlay exits will remain open during this time.
Katie Breidenbach-Wooding, a Manchester University senior, was named to the fall 2017 dean's list. She is a senior from Bluffton majoring in peace studies.
A total of 421 students at Manchester University (North Manchester, Indiana) are on the fall 2017 Dean’s List. The students achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of classes this fall.
Maria Spallinger, a Bluffton High School sophomore artist, had her work selected as best of show in this year's Kewpee Art Invitational at ArtSpace, Lima. The piece shows her brother on the bank of Riley Creek. Click here for more details about the show and artist.
A Bluffton High School artist’s piece was selected “Best of Show” in this year’s Kewpee Art Invitational, according to Vickie Garmon, BHS art teacher.
In addition, another BHS art student’s photograph was selected first place in photography.
The show at ArtSpace/Lima is open through April 7.
Maria Spallinger, a BHS sophomore, is the best of show artist. Her work was judged best of the 101 works accepted in the show. Eighty-eight students from 22 area high schools have works in the exhibit.
Kassandra Bishop, a BHS senior, won first place in photography.
The cash basis financial report of the Village of Bluffton, for the year ended Dec. 31, 2017, has been submitted to the Auditor of State and is available for public inspection by appointment with Laura Ewing, village fiscal officer.
