The Bluffton University women’s basketball team will host a Skills Camp Monday, June 27- Thursday, June 30.

The camp is open to girls entering grades 2-8. The first session will be for participants entering grades 2-4 and will take place from 9 a.m.-noon all four days. The second session will be for participants entering grades 5-8 and will take place from 1-4 p.m. each day. The cost for session 1 is $55 per camper while session 2 costs $65 per camper and payment must be received by June 1.

-A subject walked into the police station carrying a knife and showed officers where he had cut his wrist with it.  He was transported to St. Rita’s Hospital.

-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash on Church St.  Nancy Yeager, 71, Bluffton was issued a citation for Reasonable Control.

April 2
-Officers responded to an assault complaint in the 100 block of E College Ave. 

The Bluffton University baseball team will host a Youth Skills Camp from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 19.

The camp is open to youth ages 9-14. Cost is $78. Registration forms can be found at www.bluffton.edu/athletics/baseball/

Trinity Lutheran School’s graduation is Sunday, May 29, in the 10:30 a.m. service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera. 

Pre-service music will be by members of the graduating class.  Grant Insley is the class speaker.   The class members are: Hannah Aliva Hassan, Trent Michael Hummer, Grant Emerson Insley, Jayden Christopher Mays, Peyton Elyse Rettig, Derek John Rose, and Noah Michael VanDermark.

What's up in Bluffton in June? Here's part of our continuing series of June events happening in Bluffton.

The Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a Fairy Princess Party on Saturday, June 4 at the Bluffton Middle School Cafetorium from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event will include a finger food buffet, face painting, nail art, hair styling, crafts, photos with princesses and door prizes. Costumes are encouraged.

Bluffton High School graduate Hannah Chappell-Dick has earned one final trip to NCAA Division III track and national meet,qualifying for next weekend's final meet in the 1500m.

A four-time All-American, Chappell-Dick is seeded No. 5 in the 1500m with her time of 4:28.62. She is a student at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va.

A tradition, which dates back more than 150 years, continues to bring veterans and families together in Bluffton. The tradition: decorating the graves of America’s war veterans, known now as Memorial Day.

The members of Bluffton American Legion Post #382  invite Bluffton residents to join in this year's event, Monday, May 30.

A Memorial Day parade will start from the Bluffton town hall. To be in the parade be at the town hall by 9:15 a.m. The parade will start at 9:30 a.m. 

Four teams are ready to go in this summer’s Bluffton Community Olympics and there’s room for your team to compete.

The Olympics is Saturday, July 30. Team sign-up is soon.
