John Mishler, a nationally known sculptor from Goshen, Ind., will open an exhibition featuring his metal sculptures on Monday, Nov. 8, in the Grace Albrecht Gallery of Bluffton University's Sauder Visual Arts Center.

Mishler is known for his sculptures using common metals, including aluminum, copper, steel and stainless steel, to create both abstract and symbolic pieces of art. Many of his outdoor pieces incorporate kinetic energy and have moving parts. His works have appeared in public and corporate collections across America and in private collections internationally.

The exhibit, which continues through Dec. 10, is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
