And we thought "edible books" were only for book worms
Here's an interesting note from the Bluffton Public Library website:
Bluffton Public Library and Bluffton University Musselman Library are partnering to promote reading and creativity by hosting an Edible Books Contest on July 25. Finale activites will also include demos for adults and kids activities. Community Markets is our main event sponsor.
Check out www.pinterest.com/bpl45817 for ideas and inspiration. Edible entries may be as simple or as elaborate as one wishes.
Click here for a the Guidelines & Registration brochure. This event is free and open to the public. Display space is limited; registration forms are due by July 12.
Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show in various age categories and Best Pun. The prize for the youngest age group (preschool through Grade 5) is a huge, adorable puppy.
