A special day for girls is planned for Wednesday, June 26 from 9am-3pm. Princess Day will include lots of pampering activities: nails, hair, photo shoot, and a special lunch. Girls will also create princess-themed crafts, learn cheerleading moves, and participate in tumbling.
Registration is due by June 19; cost is $40 ($25 BFR) for the entire day’s activities and materials.
Families looking for an indoor play location on rainy Fridays can visit the BFR from 11am-12noon. The arena will be available for drop-in play with balls and equipment provided. Daily cost is $1 per child with parent/caregiver present.

No prior soccer experience is required; players are grouped together by ability so that everyone is challenged. Challenger Camps are staffed by soccer players/coaches from the United Kingdom. The 1,000 Touches Curriculum used by the staff has been designed to improve technical development. Also exclusive to these camps is the World Cup Tournament format that teaches the campers about different international locations. Each day’s activities include a blend of fun drills, competitive play with small-sided teams, plus team building.

BFR Supports Relay for Life with Family Activities
Area families are encouraged to stop by the Relay for Life on Friday, June 21 for family games. BFR staff will be at the Bluffton University football stadium with a variety of games from 6-8pm. In addition to the BFR games, relays and races, the area will also include several inflatable games sponsored by a relay team. An armband ($5 donation per child) will
be required to participate in these activities. At 8pm, BFR will lead families in parachute activities (at no cost) on the football field.
Relay for Life is an annual fund-raising event for the American Cancer Society. Teams raise money all year for cancer research; the Relay event encourages team members and community to honor victims and survivors of cancer. Additional children’s games and activities will be available by individual teams for a nominal cost.
Area families are also encouraged to bring quarters and other loose change to the Relay. Family members will be encouraged to help line the outside of the walking track with change. Donated change will go towards the total goal of $30,000 for this year’s Relay event.
For more information about these Relay activities, contact Carole Enneking
by calling BFR 419-358-4150.
