Richard D. Stewart was a Pandora-Gilboa High School graduate
Richard D. Stewart, 75, died Oct. 10, 2013, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Lima to the late Dale and Inez (Glancy) Stewart. On June 22, 1963, he married Nancy K. Houts and she died June 18, 2011.
Richard had worked at Lima Ford Engine Plant. He was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton. He was a member of the Columbus Grove Fender Benders. He was a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School.
Survivors include a daughter Kimberly Stewart of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son Bradley Stewart of Bluffton; three grandchildren Josh, Justin and Sarah Stewart; a step granddaughter Amanda Osborne; great granddaughter Vanessa Stewart; two sisters Anita (Ralph) Vieson of Wilmington, Susan (David) Gardin of Cincinnati; and a mother-in-law Dorothy Houts of Bluffton.
He was preceded in death by twin sons, David Albert and Douglas Allen Stewart.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. David Plant officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
