Red Cross assisting Rawson family after house fire
Rawson family is being assisted by the American Red Cross of Hancock County following a fire at their home on Township Road 25 on Tuesday.
Red Cross volunteer disaster responders provided assistance to the family for food, comfort kits containing personal hygiene items, stuffed animals for the family’s children and other immediate needs.
Red Cross Disaster Volunteers Bill Davis, Phyllis Davis, Cindy Schwab and James Beach responded to the call for help shortly after 2 p.m. on Sept. 30. The Red Cross will continue to aid the family as needed and assist in long-term recovery planning with resources, information, and referrals to partner agencies.
All Red Cross disaster relief is provided free of charge, thanks to the generosity of the American people. You can help people affected by disasters like tornadoes, floods and other crises by making a donation to the American Red Cross.
