And, it was amazing!

A Pirate Amazing Adventure Day couldn’t have been better. It took placeTuesday, the last day of classes for Bluffton middle schools students.

The Icon understand it worked something like this (if we are incorrect blame Jaime Nygaard, who provided us with the rules):

• Kyle Leatherman, principal, created the adventure.
• The entire middle school was involved through forming teams in advanced.
• Some teams created flags, some developed team names like "Fire-Breathing Penguin Turtles" or "The Savage Squad."
• The day began in the gym. Each team received a crossword puzzle that needed to be solved. Only then could the team receive further instructions.
• Those further instructions allowed teams to visit nearly 30 stations where team received a challenge to earn points. Teachers and parents oversaw the stations.
