First Greenhorn at night with Fred-in-Stein
Greenhorn restaurant, 112 Vine St., has issued the following invitation beginning October 23:
"It's no myth.....Greenhorn is now open at night. Full bar. Craft cocktails. Late Night Menu. Interesting events.
Join us at Greenhorn on Saturday, October 23 at 9 and 11 p.m. as we kick off our new late night service with an evening of Bluffton-based folklore, myths, and storytelling featuring hair raising tales of true crime, UFO sightings, haunted locales, and eerie happenings collected over the years by Fred Steiner (aka Fred-in-Stein), former owner of the Bluffton Icon and the Ada Icon.
This event is not for children or the faint of heart! Cringe to the grisly tale of a local man who lost fingers in an accident.... and later found them! Learn more than you dare about the Maple Grove Cemetery ghost and the mysteries surrounding the Shifferly Road Revolutionary War gravesite, the Bluffton school bell, and the strange beasts, haunted sites and eerie situations that simply cannot be explained."
Call for reservations: (567) 226-4568.
Greenhorn serves internationally inspired plant-based food made from scratch using seasonal, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. For more information about Greenhorn, visit the restaurant's Facebook page.
