Letitia M. (“Tish”) Triplett passed away on the evening of March 17, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Tish was born in Bluffton, Ohio on August 3, 1962, the daughter of M. Morris and Jean Hoover Triplett. She was a 1980 graduate of Bluffton High School, and went on to graduate from Bluffton College and the Ohio Institute of Photography in Dayton. Her great-grandfather, Will A. Triplett, was the first commercial photographer in Bluffton.  

Geoffrey S. Wolfrom, 78, passed away April 16, 2026, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. Geoffrey was born on November 21, 1947, in Bluffton to the late Orlan and Miriam (Schaeublin) Wolfrom. On September 9, 1972, he married Doris Karhoff Wolfrom, and she survives. 

D. Jane Grismore, 93, passed away April 15, 2026 at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Jane was born August 8, 1932 in rural Lima to the late Emmer and Florence (Cool) Bridges. On June 16, 1951, she married Park Cherry and he passed away on September 10, 1965. She later married Herbert Grismore on December 5, 1971 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2024. 

Barbara S. Parkins, 87, passed away April 4, 2026, at the Meadows of Delphos. Barbara was born January 18, 1939, in Beaverdam to the late John and Louise (Kirkendall) Manahan.

Barbara Shapter, 1921-2026

Barbara J. Shapter, age 104, passed away April 1, 2026, at StoryPoint Memory Care in Waterville, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion that spanned more than a century. 

Born June 26, 1921, in Columbus, Ohio, Barbara graduated from Columbus Central High School and went on to build a life rich in experience and connection. Over the years, she made homes in Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, and Kentucky, embracing each chapter with quiet strength and grace. 

Sharon Sue Oman Stuckey MacKenzie, 81, of Bluffton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born October 21, 1944, in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio to Domer D. and Dortha (Price) Oman. After Domer was killed in World War II, she was raised by her mother and stepfather, Ralph Cole. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald D. Stuckey, on August 14, 1965, and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1992. She then married Lawrence B. "Larry" MacKenzie on November 30, 2002, and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2006.
