Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) joined MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning to discuss congressional efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare. During the interview, Rep. Jordan reiterated his opposition to the American Health Care Act in its current form.

The Easter Bunny is coming to Bluffton.

Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) and Jerry Lewis’ McDonald’s host their annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Mennonite Memorial Home, 410 W. Elm St., Bluffton.

The Easter egg hunt takes place come rain or shine. There is no rain date. Children ages 8 and under are invited to come, hunt for hidden eggs, register for prizes, gift baskets and have their parents take their pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Doughnuts are donated by Community Markets and hot beverages will be provided by MHCO.

Blanchard River Watershed Partnership

Two Bluffton residents were elected as board members of the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP) for 2017, according to Phil Martin, watershed coordinator.

They are Judy Augsburger, Bluffton mayor, and Robert Antibus, retired biology professor at Bluffton University.

A third board member, Jeremiah “Bud” Haselman, represents the Cranberry Creek watershed. He holds a business degree in marketing and management from Bluffton University and lives in rural Pandora.

Four students from Bluffton were named to the fall semester dean's list for part-time students at Rhodes State College, Lima. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled in at least six but not more than 11 credit hours and earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher.
