Life Flight of Bluffton was used earlier today in a Hardin County Sheriff's Office search for a Hardin Northern school student.
According to the sheriff's office, that office was contacted by the Hardin Northern Schools regarding a child who ran away from the school building.The child ran into a large cornfield north of the school property.
An initial search of the immediate area was conducted and the child was not able to be located.

Bluffton Family Recreation is accepting registrations for the first of two six-week fall sessions for youngsters, according to Amy Byers, BFR sports coordinator.
Session I runs from the third week of September to Oct. 27, with all classes at BFR, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton.
The fifth annual Regional Auto Growth Summit will be held Friday, Sept. 8, in the Keese Hall Multipurpose Center at Rhodes State College, 4240 College Drive, Lima. This year’s theme is: Transportation: Driving Employment.
The event begins at 9: a.m. with registration and networking. The program will start at 9:30 a.m. and include these featured speakers:
· Kim Braun, CEO of Braun Industries, Van Wert
· Bernard Swiecki and Kristin Dziczek of the Center for Automotive Research (CAR), Ann Arbor, Michigan
