CNB Personal Payment now available through bill payment
Citizens National Bank recently introduced Personal Payment service, which enables customers to send and receive money securely and electronically in as little as one business day.
The service is faster and more secure than mailing a check. it is also the easiest way to send money person to person.
How it works:
o By clicking the Pay People tab within CNB Bill Payment, customers may set up a payment to anyone with as little information as their first and last name and a mobile phone number or email address. They can even include a message.
o The recipient will then receive either a text message or e-mail stating they have money available. If their bank is a zashpay member, they can use their own bill payment to receive the money. If their bank is not, they will be instructed to go to zashpay.com and set up an account in order to have the funds directly deposited into their account.
o A fee of 50 cents is charged for each payment. Customers are notified through their history link when the recipient receives their money and also if they have money available that they haven't claimed yet.
