Severe weather will also impact the AEP East Utilities this afternoon through Thursday night as this strong, slow moving storm continues grinding east.
This afternoon through early tonight...rounds of severe thunderstorms areexpected to move repeatedly across northwest Ohio. Conditions are even favorable for a few tornadoes. A tornado watch is now in effect for much of I&M Power (http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/).
The threat of wind damage will also increase through the afternoon and evening as temperatures warm and instability increases. Gusts of 60-70 m.p.h. will be possible as short lines of severe thunderstorms cross the region.

exact timing and strength of the storms is difficult this far in advance.
