The day the zoo came to Bluffton

The Toledo Zoo came to the Bluffton Public Library on Wednesday. With it came several interesting zoo residents.

Included was a boa constrictor and an armadillo. Here are some close ups.

Toledo Zoo comes to Bluffton library on Wednesday

Bluffton Public Library invites youth from Kindergarten through fifth grade to a learning program conducted by the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, at the library.

The program is titled Amazing Adaptations. Registration in advance is required.

Amazing Adaptations takes place in the library's lower level. Children who attaned will meet some of the aniamsl who call the Toledo Zoo their home.

Bluffton Public Library announces its many June 2016 programs and services!

Bluffton Public Library invites you to participate in our summer program and reading challenge this year: “Our Library, Our Community: Healthy Together.” This year’s theme has an emphasis on supporting a healthy body, mind, and spirit through library programs, materials, and services for all ages (seniors, adults, teens and tweens, children, and toddlers!) Registration begins at the library on June 6 during our regular hours.

Raising safe kids parenting workshop planned this summer

Hey, parents…want some parenting tips?

Bluffton Public Library will offer “ACT – Raising Safe Kids Parenting Workshop,” = this summer.

The free workshops are for parents, guardians and other adults who raise youth from birth to age 8.

Registration is required and the entire series continues over nine sessions, each on Saturday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in June, July and August.

Workshop dates are:
• June 11, 18 and 25
• July 16, 23 and 30
• August 6, 13 and 20

June 4 Run/walk for Literacy benefits the library
