Forever In Stitches is moving
Forever In Stitches is moving. Owners Rick and Ruth Grihalva will move to Valparaiso, Ind. to be closer to their son, and they're taking the business with them.
Forever In Stitches offers longarm quilting services, along with patterns designed by Ruth Grihalva. They've been in business in Bluffton for 16 years (opened in 2004).
Another reason for the move is a joint business venture: over the past two years, the Grihalvas have been sales associates with Accomplish Quilting, in both selling Innova Quilting Machines, and training new owners on how to use their longarm machines. Through this, they realized there was a lack of training materials, so they have been writing their own books and offering training workshops.
“We just released our second Innova training workbook called ‘Be Creative With Your Mach 3’ to instruct new owners on the design abilities of the software,” said Grihalva.
Moving to Valparaiso, Ind. locates them closer to their partner’s offices.
“Rick and I thank the many customers and friends who have helped us build our Bluffton shop into a flourishing business.
Customers from the Bluffton area as well as the majority of our customers traveled over 50 miles or more to have us work on their treasures. We are still quilting, and still accepting quilts; the only difference is we’ll have to mail them back,” said Grihalva.
Forever In Stitches’ final opening day is Tuesday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and officially re-opening in their new location in mid-March.
As noted on their website, this move is not goodbye. Forever In Stitches can still be reached at 419-358-0656.
