Blufftonite reports from Mt. Katahdin
Relations of Blufftonite Sam Crisp shared his recent report from atop Mt. Katadin in Maine, when he finished hiking the entire Appalachian Trail:
Mission accomplished
4 months, 14 states, 2194.3 miles, and 515,000 feet of elevation gain/loss.
All I have in my heart is gratitude and love for all the people who visited me along the way, family and friends that supported me from home, and every person that has sent their energy, prayers, or encouragement my way during my AT thru-hike.
There are no words to describe the feeling of reaching the culmination of this journey, but my hope is that it leaves a positive impact on those who have followed along and serves as inspiration to others to follow their own trail, whatever that may be.
