ArtSpace/Lima announces the opening of Landscape/Cityscape, a group invitational exhibit in The Ellen Nelson Gallery, Friday, Sept. 16.

The inspiration for the exhibit centers on the fact that both landscape and cityscape have an art historical importance dating back to the beginnings of art itself, and that today’s artists, in choosing to work in one of the genres, of necessity add to and alter its dimensions and possibilities.  Landscape/Cityscape proposes a contemporary venue for new perspectives on ancient forms.

Dr. Lucia Unrau, professor of music, will present the colloquium "Arts Advocacy through Performance, Research and Outreach” on Sept. 9.
